THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

NOW LET'S SEE IT!

1. I'd really like just a large journal or sketchbook to carry around with me. I have some already, but they're all spiral bound and not hardcover, so they get bent really easily and the pages inside get all disfigured. I'm kinda grouping these in together because they're similar, but I wouldn't mind getting either or both. XD [Honestly I'd prefer the journal, if you're considering. I've always wanted one and I've got plenty of sketchbooks.]

2. I'd like anything at ALL Panic! At The Disco related, whether it's a drawing, poster, shirt, fanfiction, anything. I love them like a lot, so I'd love anything to do with them.

3. I've still never gotten anything from the shana logic website, even looking at it from time to time, I've never bought anything. If I were to get anything from there, it would be one of these two items, the angel wings shirt: [link] [x-large] or the eyeshadow: [link] which is very pretty. I don't really expect anything, but they're both pretty.

4. I'd love my ex-girlfriend to not start fights with me when we just broke up Monday on GOOD TERMS TO BE FRIENDS. I'd really just love to be friends with her, even though right now it hurts, she is a good friend. I want to feel like we can actually be friends and not end up just fighting all the time over stupid shit.

5. I'd love to get a better tablet! Mine is really shitty and if you don't hold it at a 90 degree angle from the computer, then the pen gets all spazzy and it looks like I'm on crack when I draw. I'd really like a good one so I can expand my knowledge of digital art and maybe improve as an artist.

6. I know that this is probably not possible, but I'd like to get the pell grant for school next semester, but likely I'm going to still be on academic probation since I didn't do so well this semester... But since I don't really know what I'm doing with my life anymore, it's hard to get good grades in something you think is wasting time and money.

7. Haha, I'd love to meet Brendon Urie. I know it's a crazy fangirls dream, but I'm that crazy fangirl. I'd also love to see some Ryden action! XD I know both of those most likely will not happen, but a girl can dream, right?

8. I would love it if I had the money to pay for the tags on my car. They're only about $70, but right now with paying for school and everything, I need all the cash I can spare right now.

9. Same as above, just replace tags with insurance. [Yay for actually having my license this year! \o/]

10. I want to have the courage to tell my mom everything that happens in my life. Including how Jess and I broke up. For some reason, it's horribly HORRIBLY difficult to articulate things to anyone for me, even if it is my mother.
